Food Lion MVP Card Previously, if you had your Food Lion MVP card registered to help Kindred Spirits, we would receive a small check every quarter. Sadly, Food Lion has changed their program and is only giving money to organizations that feed the hungry...hungry humans, that is. Even though part of our work is feeding starving wildlife, that does not qualify under Food Lion's new rules. For those who had their card signed up to help us, thank you so much. If anything changes on this front, we will let you know, but for the time being there is no longer a reason to sign up your card for Kindred Spirits. P.S. Feel free to write or call Food Lion if you believe the hungry should include domestic and wild animals, too. |
